Mini Club

 

Our youngest guests are kept busy at the hotel’s mini-club :  children’s playground – equipped with swings and seesaws – mountain biking (selected tracks), treasure hunts and a visit to our garden and farm.  Baby sitting is also available.  Children of 3 to 11 only are accepted.

Osmosis Club

 

The Osmosis Club,situated at the Mourouk Ebony Hotel benefits of regular trade winds, a vast and stunning lagoon interspersed with islets and a barrier reef generating tubular waves, is a paradisiac set up for kitesurfers, windsurfers and surfers. Traditional sailing adds an authentic touch and the mountaineous and varied landscape of the island is heaven for bikers and mountain-bikers alike.

Scuba diving

 

The island of Rodrigues, which is situated in the middle of the Tropical Indian Ocean with its two sister islands of the Mascarenes - Reunion and Mauritius, lies in a picture postcard lagoon twice its own size.

 

The 'Bouba Diving Centre' is based at the Mourouk Ebony Hotel, which is next to the village of Port Sud-Est and faces a large winding channel, 'La Grande Passe'. Numerous channels oozing out to the open sea cross the lagoon, blessed with an impressive coral barrier reef.

 

Divers will find here, in an unspoilt environment, a docile fauna protected by legislation which has banned underwater spear fishing for the last twenty years.

Deep Sea Fishing

 

You will have access to the best fishing spots to catch the phenomenal ‘carangues ignobilis’ and the marlin – the king of the seas, due to the strategic location of the hotel.  We will also provide the best kit for this sporting activity.  55 miles from Rodrigues, you can make a good catch on the east bank, and at 90 miles on the great Hawkins bank, an extraordinary adventure awaits you!
